Fabulous Kale Salad
1 Bunch of Organic Kale (Red or Green)
1 Head of Broccoli
1/4 Cup Raw Sunflower Seeds
1/4 Cup Chopped Dates
Newman’s Own Raspberry Walnut Dressing
Wonton Strips – Salad Toppers
Rinse kale and remove leaves from stems. Discard the stems. Rinse broccoli and cut flowerettes from head. Chop kale and broccoli into bite size pieces, Place in a large bowl. Add Sunflower Seeds and Dates. Add enough dressing to moisten the greens. Toss with salad tongs. Place in salad bowls/or plates and sprinkle wonton strips on top.
Note: If you are not eating it right away, do not add the dressing until you are ready to serve. This keeps kale from getting soggy.
